It's official. The announcement came at the celebrated Rockies Awards in Los Angeles: gilli moon has won BEST SOLO ARTIST, 2nd year in a row. Hosted by Rock City News, L.A.'s premier media promotional and resource vehicle for indie artists and musician's covering California and nearby regions, gilli moon was nominated for Best Solo Artist and Best Female Vocals, and won BEST SOLO ARTIST, winning also an award. Last year she won Best Solo Artist also, winning over Vonda Shepard (Aly McBeal) and others.

gilli moon opened for the legendary Simple Minds in Phoenix Arizona, at The Celebrity Theater - while promoting her temperamental angel tour.
