gilli moon spent January back home where she performed to a sold out crowd at Kincumber's LIZOTTE'S restaurant, owned by Johnny Diesel's brother. Then in the following week she made an appearance at THE BASEMENT, Sydney's premier music club.

 gilli moon is, for the second year now, an entrant in the ABC Newcastle Music Awards, in Australia... near her home town in fact! The 1233 ABC Newcastle Music Awards are designed to discover emerging talent and to showcase established talent.  The project runs across eight months with the major aim to give airplay to local artists. GILLI'S songs I'M CALLING YOU and THE SEDUCER from her album "Woman"  were nominated for awards in the R&B and Folk categories respectively. As much as this is an award event judged by a panel, there is also a listener's choice award.

Warrior Girl Music announces the soft re-launch of several exciting undiscovered tracks from gilli moon's "Woman" CD (2003) to Australian radio this week (April 13). With a special alliance through AMRAP, gilli moon's undiscovered album songs, with the emphasis on the newest single "To Be With You" are to be distributed to a selection of pop/rock and singer/songwriter radio station programs across Australia, as an early teaser for gilli moon's end of year national tour.

The Johnny Dennis Light Music Awards are Australia’s newest and richest music awards for composers and songwriters run by the prestigious Australian Guild of Screen Composers (AGSC).
