2004 Best Female Singer Songwriter -  Los Angeles Music Awards
November 18 is the Los Angeles Music Awards special gala event and gilli has been nominated for the prestigious 2004 Female Singer Songwriter of the Year. 

gilli moon has been nominated for the prestigious Los Angeles Music Award - Best Female Singer/Songwriter. The announcement came to Warrior Girl Music at a special performance with her band at Monsoon Cafe, Santa Monica last week.

 gilli moon is, for the second year now, an entrant in the ABC Newcastle Music Awards, in Australia... near her home town in fact! The 1233 ABC Newcastle Music Awards are designed to discover emerging talent and to showcase established talent.  The project runs across eight months with the major aim to give airplay to local artists. GILLI'S songs I'M CALLING YOU and THE SEDUCER from her album "Woman"  were nominated for awards in the R&B and Folk categories respectively. As much as this is an award event judged by a panel, there is also a listener's choice award.

It's official. The announcement came at the celebrated Rockies Awards in Los Angeles: gilli moon has won BEST SOLO ARTIST, 2nd year in a row. Hosted by Rock City News, L.A.'s premier media promotional and resource vehicle for indie artists and musician's covering California and nearby regions, gilli moon was nominated for Best Solo Artist and Best Female Vocals, and won BEST SOLO ARTIST, winning also an award. Last year she won Best Solo Artist also, winning over Vonda Shepard (Aly McBeal) and others.

 gilli moon has been nominated in the Just Plain Folks Awards for best Alternative Song, and the song is "Disgrace" from her album "Temperamental Angel."
